The Nature Trail is open for your family’s enjoyment!
Come out and explore our half mile nature trail. Visit forest, meadow, and pond ecosystems.
There are nine stations on the trail each with a short narrative and observations/questions for kids from kindergarten through 8th grade. Adults might even be challenged.
Along the way you will learn about the Ohio buckeye tree, biodiversity, beavers who live in our pond, and much more. On a sunny day you are likely to see a water painted turtle lounging on a log in the pond!
The trail is well-marked with green signs and/or you can pick up a laminated map (and please return it) at the kiosk closest to the center.
