Earth Day/Arbor Day Family Challenge and Moebius Celebration
Challenge
Gather your family and take part in our Earth Day/Arbor Day Challenge! The theme is ‘Restore Our Earth’. Here is your challenge:
- Get a copy of the checklist.
- Complete five of the activities listed.
- Enter the drawing for a chance to win two adult and two children’s tickets to the Akron Zoo. Instructions for entry are on the Entry Form.

Wear your mask and social distance!
Join the Moebius Nature Center in celebration of Earth Day / Arbor Day on May 1st, 10:00 am to noon
10 am – Tree planting ceremony: City Arborist Ben will explain proper tree planting and mulching techniques.
10 am to noon (choose your time when you register) – Fun Activities:
- Enjoy Earth Day/ Arbor Day crafts.
- Decorate your own pot and plant your own sapling to take home.
- Take a guided tour of the Moebius Nature Center grounds. Check out our beaver lodges, pollinator garden, our new nature trail.
