Birds in Flight

Date: 2018-05-19
Time: 02:00 pm
Location: 929 East Mennonite Road, just past Sunny Lake Park and up the hill on the left.

Birds In Flight Sanctuary (BIF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operating in 23 Ohio counties, that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases, sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. BIF educators, Heather and Cameron have over 40 years of experience rescuing all types of wildlife and believe that educating the public about wildlife is a very important part of helping wildlife. They will bring their “education ambassadors” (wild birds) to the Moebius Nature Center on May 19th at 2 pm for you to observe, learn about, and photograph. The program will teach you about the licenses required for Heather and Cameron to do their jobs, about some things that impact and harm wildlife, and you’ll be greeted by their wild birds - one by one!
