Join local author-illustrator and read-aloud extraordinaire, Eric VanRaepenbusch for a fun and interactive story time. He will share everything he has learned about otters and beavers plus read some of his favorite picture books that feature these amazing animals. If you have seen one of Eric’s story times you know there will be singing, dancing, and laughing too!

Award-winning naturalist and singer Foster Brown will present his fun facts, high energy, catchy original tunes and stories at the Moebius Nature Center. He will focus on birds of prey native to Northeast Ohio. This will be a family-oriented presentation filled with toe-tapping educational songs, lively storytelling and a live owl named Luna.

Did you know that moths outnumber butterflies by about 20 to 1. Join Naturalist Joe Malmisur to learn how to use black lights and sheets to attract these amazing creatures, and for a chance to observe their beautiful colors, shapes and patterns up close. Bring a flashlight, bug spray and a camera for photos.

Midsummer Night's Dream

Calling all pucks and fairies alike! Our all FREE magical Midsummer Night's Dream Festival is back for families with children of all ages. Come dressed in your favorite costume - super hero, medieval knight or princess, fairy princess, even a dragon. We'll have a fun evening of crafts (wizard and fairy/princess wands,crowns, Dragons and magical lanterns). Campfire food (hotdogs, chips, veggie sticks, brownies and s'mores) will be served. Enjoy magic bubbles, a toss game, and face painting then stick around for the moon and follow the lights to a hidden treasure. Enjoy an evening with us at the Moebius Nature Center to celebrate the wonderful summer season.

Pond Dipping and Dragonfly Hunting!
