Visitor Information

Because of limited volunteer staffing, the Moebius Nature Center is open for visitors during scheduled programs only.

There are three parking lots available for visitors' use.

  • We ask that only visitors with disabilities use the 3 spaces nearest the building.
  • The next nearest lot requires guests to walk on a gravel driveway or on a grass and boardwalk pond side path.  Please allow a few minutes for this so that you won't be late for the program.
  • The overflow lot is near the entrance to the Center on Mennonite Rd. and is about a 10 minute walk to the Center on a gravel driveway.

Outside lighting is limited to the area around the actual center, so for night programs consider bringing a flashlight.  For astronomy programs, please cover flashlights with red cellophane or leave flashlights at home in order to protect everyone's night vision.

The nature center is located on a hill overlooking Sunny Lake Park and can be accessed from Mennonite Road (929 E. Mennonite Rd., Aurora, OH 44202.)  Please see map below.  The gate is normally locked for security reasons, though residents are welcome to enjoy geocaching, hiking and fishing (catch-and-release only.)
